Jesse Alexander began working as a motor racing photographer in 1953. This book is an album of his photographs of Porsche racers from 1953 to 1962, mostly in Europe but including the Mexican Road Race. It begins when the Porsche 550 was the latest factory racer and finishes with the year of the Porsche 804 F1 car, which scored Porsche`s only World Championship Grand Prix win at Rouen in the French Grand Prix. |
